According to the Law of Attraction you need to clear out and get rid of things that don't work, the unnecessary, the unused, the negative, the rubbish... before you can begin to let in the new.
In other words, we have to get rid of the clutter in our life.
Toy Organizer Bin
Often we associate clutter with physical things in our environment for example, unused, broken, rubbish, items we hang onto instead of throwing out or putting away.
Clutter, however, can appear and weigh us down in all areas of our life including:
things we have started and not completed -- for example, a hobby such as a home gym. We may purchase all the necessary equipment but abandon the activity because we become distracted, bored or no longer interested. The equipment is there, taking up room, but rarely, if ever, used things not put away or thrown out -- this occurs throughout the house and work area for example, packaging not put in the bin, household items not put away including, clothing, dishes, reading material, toys, files possessions we no longer use -- often we buy, or are given something we may use for a little while and then put away for example gadgets we eagerly buy but the novelty quickly wears off clothes we haven't worn for ages -- our wardrobes and other storage areas often contain clothes we haven't worn for a long time, or never worn, because they no longer fit, need repairing or are out of fashion; they take up valuable room and energy habits we keep repeating that serve no purpose -- habits we may have picked up in childhood that no longer serve any purpose or take us further away from what we want to achieve and do in our life for example, "when I was growing up, after dinner we would always watch TV together... now I live on my own and I still watch TV every night after dinner" beliefs we hang on to that are not true -- many beliefs we have held since childhood, for example that we are not good enough, not smart enough, not able to successfully achieve major goals in life and as adults we still believe them relationships we hang on to that haven't worked for a long time, or we allow such relationships to hang on to us -- before you bring any new relationships into your life you must be free from those relationships that have ended
Clutter not only takes up unnecessary time and energy but it also takes us further away from successfully achieving goals in life.
Until you take control of yourself and your environment, and until you get yourself organised, you'll have difficulty focusing on what you truly desire in your life.
