This is one of the best advice that I have ever received and really wanted to share it with everybody as well. There are many books on pick up techniques and how to get the girl/guy but there isn't as much about how to sustain the relationships afterwards. Going from one person to the next does not give long lasting happiness and at some point each and every one of those pick up artists will have to learn these skills as well. They usually do not write books about them though, as they are not as easy to sell through hype.
A healthy relationship is based on many factors, but arguments is one of them as well even though it might seem counter intuitive at first. Anytime that we argue, it means that we care, and it is really about how the sides handle the argument that counts. I recommend that whatever you do, not to go to sleep angry. This creates an environment where it is okay to stay angry for a prolonged amount of time, and can easily lead to one of the partners leaving for someone else.

Arguments start off for different reasons, but usually it is because either one or both of the sides became hurt. People like to seem strong and do not like to admit that fact, but it is really the only reason why we so stubbornly want to win with everybody. Relationship is not a competition though, but some of us are simply to stubborn to realize that and we argue. As we lay down angry it is usually hard to fall asleep and everything that we think and feel toward the other person tends to be negative. So now on top of what happened we can blame them for not letting us get enough sleep and the cycle continues. This is very unhealthy and should never be allowed to happen. It is better to stay up a little late and just talk it out then let it run its course for days. In the best relationship both of the people know the other one's needs and how to make the calm.
This is especially important at night time, as once we don't get enough sleep our entire day is off and we cannot concentrate or focus well. In order to stay balance and healthy our career and our family both have to be doing well. I know that many people only go after one and not the other, but each and everyone of them eventually wakes up and looks back on everything that should have been done differently. It is often too late though as time is not something which we can rewind.
